Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,

der Entwurf einer konsolidierten International Standard Bibliographic Description, in welcher die bisherigen sieben ISBD-Ausgaben zusammengefasst sind, steht nunmehr fuer ein weltweites Stellungnahmeverfahren (Frist: 15. Oktober 2006) bereit. Der Entwurf und Erlaeuterungen stehen auf IFLANET zur Verfuegung http://www.ifla.org/VII/s13/pubs/Invitation4WWreview07-2006.htm.

Die Arbeitsstelle fuer Standardisierung koordiniert - analog zu bisherigen World-wide-review-Verfahren fuer ISBD - gerne eine gemeinsame Stellungnahme aus dem deutschsprachigen Bereich. Wir haben den Standardisierungsausschuss, die Expertengruppen Formalerschliessung und Online-Ressourcen auf das weltweite Stellungnahmeverfahren aufmerksam gemacht und gebeten,  bei Interesse ein Meinungsbild im jeweiligen Verbund herzustellen und Anmerkungen und Kommentare aus den Verbuenden ggf. bis zum 25. September 2006 an die Arbeitsstelle fuer Standardisierung (mailto: g.henze at d-nb.de) zu schicken.

Bitte geben Sie Ihre Anmerkungen ggf. rechtzeitig vorher an Ihre(n) Vertreter(in) in der Expertengruppe Formalerschliessung oder Online-Ressourcen. Eine Uebersicht ueber die Besetzung der Expertengruppen steht auf der Website der Deutschen Nationalbibliothek zur Verfuegung.
