Interessant übrigens, das an dieser Stelle beschriebene  
Selbstverständnis der Cataloging Section der IFLA:

"The Cataloguing Section of IFLA is the leader[!] of international  
developments in cataloguing theory, activities, and standards  
development. ... The Section proposes and develops cataloguing rules,  
..."

Na, die Musik in Sachen Regelwerksarbeit spielt derzeit ganz sicher wo anders.
