Dear colleagues,

Namespaces for the consolidated edition of the IFLA's International Standard Bibliographic Description (ISBD) have been published in Resource Description Framework (RDF), the basis of the Semantic Web. The namespaces can be accessed at http://iflastandards.info/ns/isbd/.

Attached please find a short announcement about the ISBD namespaces, and the de-referencing service which is now working.

I would appreciate if you can forward this announcement to listservs as you find appropriate.

Queries and comments are more than welcome!
