[CENL-EC] Farewell message

Dear Frank, dear Colleagues,



I am writing to let you know that I will leave my post as Director General in mid-September this year, at the end of my third term. Last week our Library's Supervisory Board elected a new Director General and Mr Martin Öövel will assume office on 17 September.



I have very much enjoyed my years at the National Library of Estonia, with a lot of exciting challenges, good cooperation partners and a fantastic team. I hope I have also been able to give something back - the renovation of our building is progressing well and I hope that in a couple of years the library will be able to continue in a brand new environment.



Dear colleagues, I am truly sad that leaving my post at the National Library also means leaving the CENL and the Executive Committee. It has been wonderful and inspiring to work with you, and to attend our dynamic meetings over many years. It has been a privilege to belong to the community of national librarians. I would like to wish you and your libraries every success for the years to come.
