Sie haben schon recht, dass FRBR eigentlich keine direkte
Beziehung zwischen einem Werk und einer Manifestation kennt. RDA
sieht das aber genauso vor (RDA 17.8). Es handelt sich hier um
eine bewusste Vereinfachung, weil die Entität der Expression als
oft schwierig und aufwendig gilt. Ein entsprechender Hinweis
findet sich in RDA 17.0:<br>

"Aus praktischen Gründen ist es möglich, eine Beziehung zwischen
einem Werk und einer Manifestation sowie die reziproke Beziehung
mit einer implizierten Expression anzugeben. In solchen Fällen
wird vorausgesetzt, dass die Expression existiert, sie aber nicht
explizit identifiziert wird."<br>
