Hier mal zur Anschauung und Erbauung eine Message aus der MARC-Liste.
Dort wurde gerade ueber die Reihenfolge von Fussnoten in der Anzeige bzw. auf 
Karten diskutiert... Und hier hat nun auf einmal jemand gemerkt, dass AACR und 
MARC eine noch durchweg zettelorientierte Denkweise haben.
(Bei uns ist es ja so, dass MAB nie zettelorientiert war und dass RAK-Online 
schon vor Jahr und Tag als Idee und Forderung im Raum stand. Ich habe das in dem 
Sinne beantwortet.)

I was looking through AACR2 the other day and the examples struck me as
being so obviously card-oriented, even though the introduction tried to
claim that the examples were really neutral expressions. Even more than
AACR, ISBD makes inherent assumptions about the form of display of the
data elements.

Is anyone thinking outside of this box?
