Und wie können sie in Bezug auf Forschungsdaten genutzt werden? Um diese Fragen grundsätzlich zu beantworten und den Gebrauch von Normdaten auch für Forschungsdaten zu fördern, hat NFDI4Culture ein <a href="https://av.tib.eu/media/60986"><span style='color:windowtext'>Video-Tutorial</span></a> veröffentlicht. Das Tutorial thematisiert Normdaten für verschiedene Entitäten und von verschiedenen Anbietern (GND, wikidata oder GeoNames) und erläutert ihr Potential für das Semantic Web. Da sich Normdaten-IDs zur eindeutigen Referenzierung von Entitäten bestens eignen, sind sie attraktiv für die kulturwissenschaftliche Forschung, aber auch für Museen, Sammlungen und Archive, die sich mit kulturellem Erbe beschäftigen.<br>NFDI4Culture ist Teil der Nationalen Forschungsdateninfrastruktur und trägt zur digitalen Transformation in den Kultur- und Geisteswissenschaften bei. Das Konsortium möchte dazu motivieren, Forschungsdaten mittels Normdaten zu verknüpfen und damit sichtbarer zu machen sowie über Normdaten die Maschinenlesbarkeit von Forschungsdaten zu erhöhen. Durch Normdaten als Knotenpunkte kann ein digitales Netzwerk von Forschungsdaten entstehen. NFDI4Culture arbeitet dabei eng mit der GND an deren Weiterentwicklung zusammen. Aus dieser Zusammenarbeit ist auch die Idee entstanden, Videos zum Umgang mit Normdaten zu produzieren. <br>In der <a href="https://nfdi4culture.de/de/ressourcen/knowledge-base.html"><span style='color:windowtext'>Knowledge Base</span></a> von NFDI4Culture sind noch zwei weitere Videos zu finden: Allen, die neugierig darauf sind, was es mit NFDI4Culture überhaupt auf sich hat, sei das Video "<a href="https://av.tib.eu/media/61085"><span style='color:windowtext'>Was ist NFDI4Culture</span></a>?" empfohlen. Das Video "<a href="https://av.tib.eu/media/60987"><span style='color:windowtext'>3D-Objekte - Das kulturelle Erbe virtuell</span></a>" illustriert, wie digitale 3D-Objekte entstehen und wie sie helfen, das kulturelle Erbe zu erforschen und zu bewahren.
