Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,

hier eine Meldung zur Information aus der IFLA Bibliographic Conceptual Models Review Group (BCM RG) https://www.ifla.org/units/bcm-rg/.

Diese Arbeitsgruppe hat vor einigen Jahren das IFLA Library Reference Model (IFLA LRM) erarbeitet an das sich in der Folge viele Standards, wie auch die RDA, angepasst haben.

Seit kurzem liegt ein Entwurf für ein LRMoo, als ein objekt-orientiertes Library Reference Model vor, das die Arbeitsgruppe in Zusammenarbeit mit der CIDOC CRM Special Interest Group (CIDOC CRM SIG) erarbeitet hat https://www.ifla.org/g/bcm-rg/working-group-on-frbr-cidoc-crm-harmonization/.

Die LRM Working Group ruft nun zu einem weltweiten Review dieses Entwurfs auf. Alle Informationen hierzu finden Sie weiter unten in der Mail.

The LRMoo Working Group of the Bibliographic Conceptual Models Review Group is pleased to invite your responses in the world-wide review of LRMoo.
LRMoo is the object-oriented formulation of the IFLA Library Reference Model<https://repository.ifla.org/handle/123456789/40>, and is the successor to FRBRoo<https://repository.ifla.org/handle/123456789/659>, the object-oriented formulation of the original FR models, FRBR, FRAD, FRSAD, which was approved as an IFLA standard in 2016.
LRMoo is formulated as a compatible extension to the museum community’s conceptual model, the CIDOC Conceptual Reference Model and is aligned with version 7.1.2 of CIDOC CRM<https://cidoc-crm.org/Version/version-7.1.2>. LRMoo issues from a long-standing cross-community collaboration between IFLA and ICOM (International Council of Museums) through its CIDOC CRM Special Interest Group<https://cidoc-crm.org/>.
